Yun Eun Hye is making a transformation from former idol singer to actress and now, director.
The actress will be making her directorial debut through her short film, The Knitting at the upcoming Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

Entering in the film competition’s Wide Angle Korean Short Film category, the twelve-minute short film is described by the BIFF homepage as, “A Woman is packing for moving. Among the scattered pile books, diaries and photos all around, she finds a knitting bag and one unfinished inside. She buries herself in knitting but soon is interfered with her friend’s amatory experiences and hovers around the porch burrowing her stuffs.
From her activities and numerous props, you can find out signs of a farewell. However, the film does not stay on just ‘farewell’ but accumulate emotions by means of materialization of memeories.”
The film will go up against 13 other films in the category.
The film festival, the 17th so far, will take place from October 4 through 13 in Busan.
